During the 2022/23 football season, I gained experience in writing match reports for a local football club. This is a major starting point in my career in becoming a reporter.

For my final major project in year 1 of level 3, I wanted to improve my article writing skills. 

For my final project in level 2, I got in touch with a football club for work experience. They tasked me with writing an end of season review for their website.

My Final Major Project Level 3 second year. I based the magazine on the teachers publisher InTuition. The skills I gained from doing this project include interviewing and academic writing. These skills will be vital heading into university.

In the first year of my level 3 course, I was entered into a competition where I could show of my Graphic design skills.

I completed a journalism unit in the first year of level 3. Here I learnt a range on journalism techniques that will help me with my future work.  

Whilst working for Vauxhall Motors FC, I had the opportunity to have some of my articles sent over to a local paper, Liverpool Echo.

On my work experience at Hits Radio, I got the opportunity to speak to Austrialian singer/ song/actor Emily Williams. She returns to the world of musical theatre in the hit show The Bodyguard. In the interview, Williams talks about the challenges of the musical world and what its like performing in Blackpool.
